Welcome! If this is your first time here, you may want to subscribe to get updates in your RSS feed reader. Thanks for visiting!

Most bloggers, and very much myself, are pretty heavily reliant on other bloggers. We share information, we interview each other, we write for each other, and the success or failure of the blogging world is due to the collective efforts of bloggers, not of one or a few people.

That said, I’m going to spend Saturdays for a while passing on some of the best of the blogosphere, or at least the small part of it I’m hooked into. I read a number of fantastic blogs, and this is my way of both giving them some love, and sharing with you guys the best posts I’ve read and used this week.

Numbers will vary, but it’ll be a weekly roundup of the best of my RSS feeds. I could do a weekly roundup of my own stuff, but I think everyone’s better served if I can tune you into some great posts on some great blogs. So, without further ado, here’s “The Best of What’s Around”:

Zen Habits- “Productivity 2.0: How The New Rules of Work are Changing the Game” (here)

John Kendrick’s Weblog- “How To Get Started With GTD” (here)

Hongkiat- “30+ (More) Most Wanted Wordpress Tips, Tricks, and Hacks” (here)

Lifehacker- “ConceptDraw Mind Mapping Software Free for a Limited Time” (here)

Scott H. Young- “The Unconvential Guide to Working For Yourself” (here)

Educational Games Research- “The Top 10 Most Influential Educational Video Games from the 1980s” (here)

Mashable!- “17 Alternatives to Buying and Selling on Ebay” (here)

Lifehacker- “Form an Attack Plan for a Cluttered, Messy Home” (here)

Tim Ferriss- “Deadline in Less Than 7 Hours- An Important Bribe” (here)

How to Beat Up Anything- “How to Beat Up Beloved Actor Tom Hanks” (here)

Those are just a few of the reasons I keep piling up feeds in my RSS reader. Some are funny, some helpful, some just interesting- who knows when you’re going to be in a fight with Tom Hanks?

Now it’s your turn- what’re the best blog posts you’ve read in the last week, month, eon? Share them in the comments.
